DeskJockey Posted January 5, 2005 Share Posted January 5, 2005 Engine Components Inc (ECi) has an angled oil filter adapter for tight installations that might not otherwise allow an oil filter. It looks similar to the Lycoming and B & C adapters but has a street price of only 175.00. ECi has drilled and tapped a 1/8" NPT boss in the bottom to allow installation of a quick-drain to avoid spillage when the filter is removed. Contact an ECi representative at 800-324-2359 or look on the website www.eci2fly.com. The part number AEL22772-1 filter adapter carries a PMA and technical information can be found on the ECi website under Technical Resource Materials/Service Instructions/SI 03-2.
