jwillis
Does anybody know how the 180 hp rotary torque compares to the 0360? Thanks John
Richard Schubert
If the rotary is geared to produce exactly the same R.P.M. at the prop as the lycosaurus and both motors are producing exactly 180 H.P. at the prop, the torque "at the prop" will be exactly the same!!!! I.E. Torque x R.P.M. = H.P. Quote "We choose to do these things not because they are easy, but because they are hard." JFK
DanC
Jwillis, Check out and order Tracy Crooks book @ http://www.rotaryaviation.com/ , on this subject. It's well worth the price, even if it's only for educational purposes. Dan C.
