Have You looked at the Takeoff Boxer? BMW r1200 oil/Air cooled, and 125 hp used on Cherry, I'm designing a light version of the Velocity twin, with these engines. 2 seater side by side.See attached pdf. I really like the boxer, I have 72000 miles on my cycle with a variant of this engine. No problems ever, and I run it hard. By the way, less than half the cost of a Rotax 912
