  1. There are some ways to do it.

     

    The wrong way.

     

    Buy this plane.

    Buy a new car.

    Buy a new office.

    Buy a new computer.

    Buy a new secretary.

     

    The better way.

     

    Buy the Plane to have it for shure.

    Do this alone or maximum with a partner, a worker (moulding) not a showman.

    Take 3 months to make your self a professional with this plane.

    Laminate, mould, one or two so you can show something.

    Let the airplane fly at some exhibitions.

    Inform the people as i do here.

    For cheap.

     

     

    You should have fun on a dream bussines in the future.

     

    You should not and you must not invest a million again.

     

    The product is finish, flyes very, very well and there is no need to make this airplane better for the next 10 years.

  2. The steroides are from the University in München and a second university.

     

    The plane also was been in the wind tunnel to put in the last bionic informations.

     

    Why can a pinguin swimming faster then a delphin.

    You will find this information implemented in this airplane.

    I can tell you the "steorides" on the right place will helping a lot.

     

    The millions to create this airplane must be anywhere, now you have a little idea about.

  3. Maybe prototyping an aircraft then costs about the same despite on which class it is intended for and the parts cost is not the major factor on the prototyping price.

     

    Burt Rutan allegedly prototyped & flight tested Adam A500 twin predessor for one million USD (information from Adam Aircraft web site - based on the quote of Burt's alleged statement "This is going to cost you one million bucks".

     

    Now i have more informations.

     

    Klaus Richter invest to realize this, what you can get here now for cheap was more then DM 4.000.000,00 also 2 Millions Euro or 2.6 Million $

     

    And you get anything what you need to start to producing this very nice airplane.

     

    The bateleur was a license product to south africa.

    The owner of the licens was doing some little modifications.

    Thats all, but he has no rights to build and sell the Delta Dart again.

     

    The mother-form, moulding, to make tho copies are a lot of money worth.

    Some newer generation Kevlar parts are also include, not fiberglass only.

     

    I think the chance to catch such a object you will get only one time in your live.

    You can be the new official manufacturer of this nice jetstyle ultralight plan now.

    And you get a near complete ready to fly plane include.

     

    And anything is documented up to the lasr screw.

     

    Only "how to laminate" there a 40 sides paper about.

    For a german engineer it is very, very important to get a perfect documentation you must now.

     

     

    This plane is not a junk, its a "Made in Germany" at his highest possible definitiion.

    The Bateleur aircraft is very interesting. I remember coming upon it on the internet some years ago, when operations were still based in South Africa. Your recent post in another thread renewed my interest and I went to the new German site. Then I ordered a back issue of Flieger Magazin (January 2002) to find out more, and now I have mixed feelings about this aircraft.

    The gist of it is:

    On the positive side:

    - Strong, light construction

    - Reliable 4-stroke, Rotax power

    - STOL, capable of operating from unimproved fields

    - Quick to build from a kit

    On the negative side:

    - It is supposed to be a derivative of the Delta Dart, the prototype of which crashed, killing the designer

    - Very expensive for my pocket, more than EUR 68.000 ex VAT at 2002 prices

    Its the original, constructet in Germany by Richter Flugzeugbau.

     

    Bateleur looks like the same, i think its a copy.

    Only the prototyping in Germany was a lot more then 1.000.000,00 $
