Thanks for the info Jany, I received an e-mail from Larry at Featherlite and he says that they only have the LongEZ legs. I'm going down to the field tomorrow to strip and assess the damage more thoroughly ( incident was only last Sunday ) because I may also need some metal fitting. I appreciate your help. John.

You could try the classifieds at www.ez.org or just go with a Long-EZ nose strut. I'm sure it could be modified. A popular VariEze mod is to use Long-EZ gear anyway.
Thanks Jon. I already have the Long EZ main gear and I am trying to view a Long EZ for a nose leg comparrison. Cheers John.

Hi Guys,
After 6 years of flying my VEZ and about a 1000 uneventful arrivals,I have eventually managed a gear up landing and the nose leg was severely damaged. Could anyone please advise me where I could obtain a replacement. I have tried Featherlite and they only supply LongEZ legs, which I believe could be modified to fit.
Any offer of help / advise would be very much appreciated.
Thanks John. G-LASS .UK

Hi, Could anyone please advice me where I can buy a good quality replacement Varieze canopy. I believe there is a supplier out there who makes a slightly thicker one. I have viewed Todds canopies and Aircraft Extrax Inc but I'm sure I've seen another supplier who offers the thicker ones.
My present canopy is long overdue for replacement and I have been putting it off for too long. Any advice very much appreciated.
Thanks, John. UK.
