  1. The Long EZ in the Dallas Forth Worth area that Kent posted in this thread on July 13th sold yesterday. The seller was first asking 24k and then dropped it to 18k a few weeks ago. Not sure what the final selling price was. Had an O-235 engine.
  2. Dear Long EZ Project Builders, Do you, or someone you know, have a Long EZ project that has just been sitting in a garage or hangar for a few years? If so, please reach out. I am looking for a Long EZ Project. The closer the build follows Burt’s plans, the better. I’ll consider a project at any stage in the build, but preferably most of the work through chapter 19 (Wings and Ailerons) has been completed. The goal - get another Long EZ flying in nine months! Ambitious I know, but if Mike and Sally could build a Long EZ in six months while working full time, I know I can finish a Long EZ project in nine months. The goal is not to have the “perfect” Long EZ with all the bells, whistles, and 100s of extra build hours, but to instead honor Burt’s vision… a light, simple EZ that is a joy to fly. I recently sold my Piper Cherokee and have an empty hangar, so your project will have a good home and be well cared for. Hopefully you and your friends will see her at Oshkosh next year and maybe even in the 50-EZ Flyover in 2025 as we all celebrate 50 years. Reach Out. Joseph Maydell
