I'm using Solidworks. Did your fuselage bottom not line up well too? Mine is off, It must be flexed together or something.

Just started, waiting for plans... I have a couple 4 stroke motors. So scratch building. From what I read its just no information on the metal components which I'm not worried about I can engineer those up from the pictures I have found. CNC is looking good I was going to be doing mine by hand. Haha. Low tech for my standards.

I do the same thing 3D model the whole plane up before I build it.. Just recently decided My Q2 is a bit much for what I'm always doing by myself plus to have its little brother would be awesome! Your models look good.
