  1. Kit sold for $500 and engine $1250. Glad to have sold both and cleared out space in garage!
  2. Kit and engine have been sold. Kit went for $500, biggest hold backs on price were age of kit (still in boxes) and lack of carbon fiber wing supports. Engine (modified VW) was sold for $1250. It is being sent back to Revmaster in California to be updated, originally purchased in 1982 and had not been taken out of original box. DY
  3. I have a Quickie Q2 kit purchased in 1981 by my father for $10,000. Everything is in its original boxes including the modified by Revmaster VW engine. My father never did anything with the kit besides store it. Some of the boxes have suffered over the years but all the parts seem to be in excellent condition including the engine. Enclosed are a few photos but, I have photos of everything. I have all the plans, packing lists, correspondence, etc. I am asking $5000 or best offer for the kit and $2500 or best offer for the engine.
  4. Here is a photo of the engine, I opened its box today. It is pristine
  5. Kent - I am the one with the Q2 kit for sale, posted on barnstormer and also posted on this web site. I just opened the box the engine is in today to look at the engine. It is pristine, and yeah the money would have been better just invested, but, oh well. Here is photo of engine
  6. I live in Madison, not too far from Oshkosh and have a Q2 kit in its original boxes plus the engine (Revmaster) for sale. My dad bought them and then they went in to storage.
  7. I have a Quickie 2 kit purchased in 1982, all parts are in their original boxes. My dad bought it and it has remained in storage and untouched for lo these many years. I have all the instructions and other paperwork for the kit. I have more photos, so if there is anything you want to see that is not pictured please contact me via email (dmyoung408@gmail.com) or by phone (715-305-7057). The price is $5000 plus shipping. I also have the Volkswagen engine ($2500 plus shipping) in its unopened box that was purchased to power the plane.
  8. Thanks, I've gone to the quickheads web site previously it won't let me access the information. I try to join their organization but I end up in a catch 22 and can't join. I will check the canard zone forum, thanks.
  9. Hello folks, I live in Madison, WI and we are selling my dad's Q2 kit. It was purchased in 1980. It is still in the boxes, we have packing list, and all correspondence, instructions, etc. I need a reasonable estimate on what I can ask for as far as selling it. Again it is Q2 kit in boxes, modified Volkswagen engine, no work has been done on it. Thanks for the help!
