Hi there Forum members, Hows it going? This my first post here under the vari eze category. I have a lead on a set of plans for about $300. My question is this..... I was looking at the specs for the varie eze at airventuremusem.org which is the musem at oshkosh. On the specs for the proto type is says the following: Empty Weight: 399 Max Weight: 880lbs. Engine: VW 1834CC 62Hp engine Normal range: 670 @ Cruise speed: 900 miles @ 40%: ??? my question is this. Does this sound close to what those of you are flying? Also, I noticed on some varieze's they have pods on the wings. Is in the plans or how do people make these? what about a extra fuel tank? thanks a bunch & happy Flying/building, Pilotwannabe
  2. Congrats Chicago on the purchase! I sent you a PM to. take care, Pilotwannabe

  4. hi forum members, I am wondering if anyone out there has plans for either a long eze or a veri eze. Please nothing over 300. I think I will have to shelf the idea about the mark IV. Unless some one has plans for 300 that I might consider to. take care, pilotwannabe

  8. Thank you T-mann. It looks like there is no shortage of support here so that is always a good thing. How do I know if there are other Canard owners here in MN? thanks much, pilotwannabe

  10. Good afternoon Group, How are we all doing today? I decided that waiting a day after I signed on to the forum I thought I would stick my head out of the bushes sort of speak. I am getting serious about buying a partly started Cozy Mark IV here in MN. So I have a couple of question. How did most of you get into canard aircraft. My reasoning may not make sense but here goes.... I want something that looks cool on the ground, cross country runner, good visability. Those are just a few of the things. I am looking for. I have to confess I have not really built a composite airccraft before. I've helped my dad build or try to build wooden airplanes but not foam. I think it will be both fun, and a learning experience. take care, pilotwannabe
