  2. YES. I would like to see the SQ2000 back on the market with all the problems the original one had fixed.
  3. Im doing a panel upgrade soon. I have KX 170. (not the digital) They are bulky but good. Im going to be selling everything out of the panel cheap.
  4. Orginally I wasn't sure how much the guy that was selling it knew about it and what his involvement with Velcocity was. But now I know that the guy selling it IS a guy you want to buy a partially completed Velocity from. He is very upfront, truthful, and helpful. He is probably the only person, other than Velocity, you would want an opinion on an airframe from.
  5. I already have looked into this. And Velocity is about 100 yards away from this airplane. I really want a third party who knows nothing about the airplane or who owns it.
  6. I want an SE. FG or RG. I found a FG that is pretty much built but the quality looks rough from the photos. I also found an RG but its a standard buildkit not started. I think that is too much work.

  11. It seems that people who ordered in past are told their gear is coming but it never comes when promised. How are you sure you will get yours this summer? I only ask because I dont want to be waiting for 2 years for gear after I place an order so I am curious if you know something more certain on delivery times.

  13. I am aware of the Infinity wait. I almost sent a deposit for a set back in 1998. It was the same issue back then. I've seen sets for sale pop up over the years on occasion so It never hurts to ask. If a set were out there over list price Id pay it. I hate waiting for stuff....especially when my money is gaining someone else interest.

    Dont the regs require that you have dual rudder and ability to have throttle controls from the other seat if you are to get instruction in the aircraft? How is it possible to get any true instruction time from a CFI in a Long Ez or Varieze because as far as I know I have never seen one with dual rudder controls.

    its for insurance. I do not have any time in one. So I need a check out. Although I don't know how I can get dual in an airplane with dual sticks but no dual rudder or throttle.

  20. 4" Sabre? Not Positive on this detail....Very good condition. Just normal usage. No dings. Black Annodized. Came of a Lancair 360 with a Lycoming 0-360 engine. Set up for 1/2" prop bolts. $300 Shipped in the USA.

  22. 42.5" wide? It sure doesn't feel that wide. I have a Lancair 360 and it feels wider than the Eracer and its 42 at the widest point. I think part of the problem with the Eracer that makes it feel cramped is the Canopy frame sits just above your shoulder or right at it. Then it tapers in a couple inches to the glass. So the bubble is actually about 2 inches narrower on each side. Where in the Lancair the bubble is flush with the Longerons.
  23. Its not that it cant accomodate people who are taller than 5'6" It will. All I'm saying is that It was at about the limit for me without modification. That is just my preference. I I was taller or heavier I think it could have been an uncomfortable fit for me. Now, Can you fix that. Yes. You can do all sorts of stuff that is why they are experimental. You could move the rudder pedals, which is a little more work....you could take some out of the seat to lower your head. So with some modification it could be set up fine for taller people. As far as width goes......that probably cant be changed. If I recall the standard Eracer cabin width at the widest point is 39 or 40 inches.
  24. Im sorry but, I honestly dont know how anyone over 6 foot could comfortably fit in that airplane. Youd be flyin with your head tilted to the inside.
