My brother in law does spray in bed liners. He uses the Scorpion bed liner system. It can be color matched and sprayed on pretty thin to save weight. It is tough stuff and gives a good non-slip surface. They also have a fire retardant system they say is for aircraft interiors.

In the EAA composite workshop that I did we built a canard section. They had us lightly coat the peelply on one side with spray adhesive and stick it on.
Congratulations N1966Z on the rotary install. I would also like to hear more about your installation and see some pictures.
SAF_ZOOM, there is also a rotary powered Long EZ for sale on Barnstormers. There are a few pictures in the ad.
I got a ride in a long ez at Rough River this year. I am 6 feet tall 210 lbs with long legs(34 inch inseam). The fit was good. I am a little short in the waist. I could have used a cushion to get me up a little higher but the leg room was adequate but just a little tight.
I have had several RX7's and still have one that I drive and a parts car or two. I do like the smoothness of the rotary but if you have never had a rotary you may not realize some of their quirks and failure modes. When I first contemplated building an aircraft I was pretty set on using rotary. Now I think the best choice is the proven Lycoming install.
I think my brother is trying to get off work on Saturday after all. If he does, we will only be able to stay the day. He will have to work on Sunday. Glad to hear that Randi is making the trip.
Looks like my drive will be solo this year. My brother has to work. I plan to leaving about 5 am on saturday. Its about 3.5 hours for me from Terre Haute, IN. My wife mentioned something about coming with me until I mentioned camping saturday night.
My neighbor has the elctromotive on a 900 honda engine that is installed in a drag rail. I have read through the manual and helped with the installation of the crank sensor. Looked to me like it can be installed on anything. His main issue now is getting the programming correct. Sorry, no info on actual Lycoming istallation.
The web site has some information on the fire retardant coating. Click on the poducts tab and then scroll down to the bottom.
