  1. I have a project started that is on the main gear with axles and completed landing landing brake. I also have the special performance canard with offsets 99% completed then ready to finish. I own another airplane and one or the other has to go. If you are interested in a started project I am interested in selling this one and would sell at a reasonable cost.
  2. I have the tub on main gear. I'm currently working on the canard. I know someone with I believe a quickie or quickie II. He is interested in selling it I think? If you are interested i can find out. What part of Houston are you in?
  3. I have seen some people are putting linear actuators rated for 100 lbs and 4 inch strokes. I see the mechanical version is closing at 95kts which i believe is 40 lbs at 16 inches. This will require 270 lbs at the attach point. Either my calculations are incorrect or I need to know if the 100 lbs force is adequate? I would also like to know of a good make model and supplier for the actuator. thanks for your response. bobmane
  4. I've recently started building a long EZ in Houston area. If there are any builders out there in this area, I'd be interested in contacting you for some advice. My project is mostly completed through the landing brake but need some advice on installing linear actuator rather than the mechanical. bobmane
  5. I have recently started building a long ez in my garage in Friendswood, Tx. I have completed the project thru Main Gear being mounted and wheels, brakes and axles are mounted. I have not yet run break lines or master cylinders. I have begun the landing brake and it is built and installed but I want to use a linear actuator rather than the mechanical. I would like also to know if someone can advise me on where to acquire and the size and weight which would be sufficient to operate the break efficiently? While I am at it, does anyone know a foam supplier in the Houston Area? bobmane
  6. Thanks for the quick reply.
  7. I have just started a project on a long ez that is completed through Chapter 7 I would like input on whether the EZ poxy or the MGS system is the best system to use. I am just getting ready to order one or the other. I also need the landing gear bow for the long EZ. If any one has one or knows of where I might find one I would appreciate it. This is my 1st post. I look forward to any responces. bobmane
