Spodmeister, G'day mate....I started the Aircar Group several years back so am the Owner. I also manage the Coot Builders Group for Richard Steeves (Plans Rights' Holder/Seller) I set up Doug Palmer as the Aircar manager/moderator. I back him up if needed. Had a set of Aircar plans but sold them 4-5yrs ago. Doug had his 1st flight in his 100% plansbuilt Spencer Aircar Amphibian last summer.... ColdLake-Tim

I have finally set-up a LongEZ Yahoo Builders Group, like the Cozy guy's did for themselves, LongEZ link> http://groups.yahoo.com/group/LongEZ/ Why?....I check email more often than logging in and with Worksite filters getting better, some sites are out of reach.....BETTER Hell Yeah! The Group is not moderated so no delayed/missing messages. The Reply's go to the group and not the members (like da udder one does ;-) Which means you don't have to bugger around reassiging messages....My Groups Police themselves so no need for censorship. Sit on the floor with your' back to the wall...Measure floor to top of your' Melon (sitting height)......Leze is canted rearward a little (forget the degrees # think it's 39" though)....The cant/tilt means you get a little bonus headroom. There is a Limeo EZ, which is wider and a bit deeper. A few out there are building same......I saw a Limeo type project for sale on Barnstormers lately http://www.barnstormers.com Grass, why not? I have a grass strip 2550' and working on it every year getting it smoother....I'm in the 3rd week of annual Bobcat rental right now doing grassstrip work and half a million other thangs ;-) ColdLake-Tim

Some guy's out there built/building what you need (late Sam Kriedel)....This is a Limoez, wider/longer with more power...Most use 0-360, but imagine a 320 would work. Google N3R......Tim Crawfords NOAA EZ kinda Limoez which had many mods. Far as I know I'm only one of three guy's that have Tim's old Drawing/papers of his mods/build. these were professionally copied by a suriving friend. But not for a beginner.....As mentioned before you can widen the fuse to fit taking in previously mentioned/written/posted concerns. The Fuselage is a simple box......Don't over do it, just try to keep the ends close to the original numbers with prementioned comments in mind and ask questions here......It's all just in the 'curve' of things ColdLake-Tim
