  1. yep, you either need a new bulkhead or a new camera. I'm a pro at this, scrapped two bulkheads and both fuse sides because they looked just like that. two options, if you just wasn't happy with the assembly, you can build over in about 1/4 the time. or, with a heat gun, peal off the glass, and this will leave a hard shell type texture. patched my fuse bottom this way. surprisingly easy. I'm slowly learning not to try too hard for the lightest possible layup. ray, covina, ca. chap 10
  2. Try Keith Spreuer, met him in Big Bear recently, nice guy. His installation is impressive. He's got the SVX 3.3L, OE engine parts, Ivo prop, and a check engine light to boot. http://www.geocities.com/kspreuer/Airplane.html ray cozy IV, chp 10
  3. I think that what was said was only constructive and dead on. I'm not sure what your intention with the web site is, but I too think it's missing it's mark. I have some great ideas, hidden doodles saved away, we all do. But I'm lacking the education, expertise, and confidence to throw caution into the wind and persue them. I'm impressed to see you hot on course and we cheer you on all the way. Like was said, your site needs more substance to be taken seriously. Past projects of your own will add substantial credibility. I like the fact that you're not soliciting investors (cough, chough, moller) I don't think that anythings been said to be offended by, just a view from outside perception. good luck with the venture -ray
  4. I was advised by David Orr (a few chapters too late) to build the canard, spar, and wings first, then decide about and/or purchase a tub later. There are several projects for sale just before the point of committing to the cost of nose and main gear. I was contemplating selling mine at just that point for just that reason. I'm 6'2", almost fit in the bare tub, except for that damn longeron, found out that I couldn't be effective as PIC in a flying cozy. My tub is now for foam and glass storage, reference for future tub size enhancements, and maybe tandem (I've thought about it too) when the day comes that I find I have too much time and money. Don't want to build another plane, the cozy flies like a fighter jet. ray
  5. I made my tool with eighth inch acrylic, and found a coffee can about the desired radius. BTW, rebooting? -ray
