Hey Will ... I just got my drawing from Jeff too ... going over the shopping list and having a few probs finding the glass in the ACS cat. numbers just don't appear to be there so I'm not sure what to order and I can't see if its available locally. The wood pricing for raises a few questions too and it costs twice as much to order the half sheet as suggested in the plans. Would be cheaper if I could find someone local that was just starting and order the whole sheet ... splitting the cost we would get what we need for just at 15$ <LOL> vs the 65$ for the 1/4"x4'x4' sheet of birch!
Can't locate the screws and I can't find a listing for the 1/4"x2"x4" piece of 2024-T3 alum, guess its only available in the kit!!! <G>
HOPEFULLY I'll get the table done this weekend and start on the box and cabnet for storing the glass. Garage is ready pretty much ... still need to put in the ceiling and do a little more insulating ... considering adding to the front of the building ( 7') that would give me a 20'x20' work space but only about a 7' ceiling ... not too sure about raising the roof to 10' but you never know ... I might as well add more width to the building so I can park the assembled AC in there when I'm done. Damn this is fun!!!!
Here I am ... will try to get a website started so I have an online log like some of the others ... they can be really helpful and serve a good purpose in the end when it comes time to show who built what to the inspectors. <LOL>
