My understanding is that there some laminated wood props that are "semi-constant speed". In other words, they flex to kinda sorta maintain a narrow speed range. Maybe this is something to look at?

You could just make a j-hook that hooked over the leading edge, and a hard point mounted drilled and tapped piece of stock. When you bolted the pod to the hard point, the j-hook would hold the front up. If you want a pic, I can whip up something and post it.

Agreed. I am interested to see how the mounting and connection of fuel lines is handled. Anyone ever have a look at Lelvill's Long EZ for this? Because of the possibility of screwups with the fuel system I think the plumbing of this system needs to be well though out (duh) Do you plan on directly feeding off these auxiliary tanks, or will you pump fuel from them into your main tanks?
