Hello Canard Group, I would like to announce a new canard fly in scheduled for February 27th 2010 in Pascagoula Mississippi. KPQL has 6500ft of canard friendly runway. This is very close to the casinos in Gulfport. We are negotiating for a discount on the gas and hotel rooms. More info to follow. http://www.airnav.com/airport/KPQL Our intention is to make this an annual event. Temperature in the mid 60's is the norm for that time of the year. There will of course be no charge for attending. All Canard drivers, builders and wannabes will be welcome. Drive in, fly in, spam can, other plastic airplanes and all those that can make it are welcome. If you think there is the slightest chance that you will be attending please let me know so we can prepare things like food, bathrooms and transportation for everyone. We really need a good headcount to properly prepare. What could we do to make this flyin different and better than others. I think Rough River is a great measuring stick so that's our goal. Look up EZ Trim on yahoo. Its an altitude hold for experimentals that is along the lines of the Navaid autopilot. This should answer any questions. I do not think it is produced any longer so I am looking to buy one used Brent
