Yes, it is a 12v model. I took it out when I installed an RMI Micro encoder. It was recently checked out by an instrument shop and given a yellow tag. I was going to sell it to an EZ driver in St. Louis who thought he had a failed encoder. I sent it to him but later found that his transponder was at fault. He still has it. If you want it, I'll have him send it directly you. I am presently in Minnesota on vacation and ask him not to return it until I returned home. Gary Hertzler

That's right John. The AKC (or is ACK) will work with any of today's certified transponders. I have the wiring harness which is integrated into the plug which goes to the transponder. Other than installing a static line to the encoder, that's it. There are many sources for this unit...see ACS's catalog. Gary Hertzler
