beginner question: cutting UNI glass for cozy seatback

The plans for cozy shows a piece of foam 42" x 28.8" to be glassed with 2 plys, the orientation angle is not explicitly mentioned but if I assumed 45 degrees the part will not fit the 38" wide roll. In order to fit the angle has to be a lot shallower on both plys, is that the intention?

actually calculated the angle, should be around 33 degrees, probably ok

It is meant to be 45 degrees. You'll just need to use more UNI for these situations. Check Chapter 3 for whether the plies should be overlapped or butted.
