Nice Work!!! Keep us up to date on your progress. Have you got the plans for the Super Quickie mods?

The paperwork from Brock/Jinx I already have and placed on my website, thanks for the hint. Below the picture after 10h fix in the vacuum bag.

Nice Progress! Where can one get the peel ply with lines in it?

In Europe we get it from R&G, please find the link below R&G peel ply   but in the other cases I use Compoflex  peel ply Compoflex 150 SB for vacuum infusion is much better.

Hello together,

so far the Q1 fuselage is done with the outside glass. The next steps will be to produce the Main Wing and canards. The foam is already delivered by the supplier.

So far the Canard is going truth the cnc diy foam cutting machine, please find a picture below. After that the wing will be the next step to cut.

The cnc diy foam cutting machine based on that source: RcKeith and that software: https://www.devcad.com/eng/devcncfoam.asp

The machine runs very well and bring out a good quality of cuttet parts. How to build part#1

Best regrads

Here we go with main wing ailerons slot with 1 bid and peelply on the top. To reduce the twist there was placed some weight to press it on the flat table.

Does anyone know where we can get accurate measurements for the Q1?

I bought the $99 pack but didn't realize that this just has the foam cutouts. How you built that 3D model with exact measurements of the quickie is a mystery :)

All information you need to build that aircraft you will find in the Q-Package, in the build plans and in the QAC News Letters. Exact is relative here, however, especially since there are not so many available or active on the Internet who have built a Q1 …….

Excuse my ignorance, but that GU canard you are using, with only one strip of carbon for the spar, does that mean that the skin also is used for bending moment?

I understand that the LS1 canard can be used for the Q200 and the Q1, but you need a round carbon fibre spar that is hard to come by. The Australian person who used to make it on Quickheads is likely gone on to other things... :(
