EZ Exterior Camera Mounting

Do you have tiedown points drilled into the outboard wing? If not, a lot of canards use a hole through the spar caps about 15-18" inboard of the winglet with a tube floxed in it. It would make a good camera mount, I think.

Here's a good article from Avweb titled Camera Mount Common Sense.

 

The only location that will not change flight characteristics in some way is to mount inside the canopy (although the view may not be what you're looking for).

You could check out Sky3D, a Velocity guy that makes GoPro mounts (and potentially 3D software).  I have this mounts.
