If I'm reading it right, N36SD has changed a lot of hands between 2006 and 2014.  Not certain what that means.  Ad says it's in annual and just needs ADS-B and the wing attached to fly it away at close to 200MPH.  Am I mistaken, isn't there a form you can file with the FAA to ferry a plane out of, or into ADS-B airspace?  Can't the wing just be attached and this thing be flown to the new buyer's home?

Also this wrecked EZ on the NFNS.   Interesting that the crankshaft sheared on a night flight and the pilot landed in the dark on a rough area.   Yikes!  Not sure I would want to bother with it though.  It could be repaired but it'd still be a lot of work--then it would have the "salvage title" Mark of Cain--unless you lie about it but nobody does that.  😉

An O-320 with 10:1 pistons, a good EI system and FI can put out 180 HP. Particularly with a good set of exhaust pipes. It's not common, but it's been done.

I've got a 320-D2A, 8.5:1, ported/polished heads, 3 angle valve job and am spinning the prop Hertzler sells for the 180hp. Never dynoed, but the 68x75 he sells for the 160hp gave me a 2650rpm static so I had to move up.

No dyno numbers to support claim but I've built a few dozen racecar and performance street car engines. What I know about suck, bang, blow says 180hp is very possible.

So back in 2015, when this plane was up for sale the first time, I did a Pre-Buy on it for a customer. While the owner stated that the landing gear had been totally repaired from the damage in the noted accident, when we jacked the plane up off the ground (I insist on BOTH wheels off the ground at the same time) I was able to move each of the wheels fore and aft approximately 2", with the motion occurring at the LG mounting points in the fuselage, on both sides. Usually, I get a bit perturbed if I can move the wheel 1/4", so this clearly was NOT an acceptable repair, and this was 8 - 9 years after the accident. I informed the owner of the need to re-repair it.

My customer did not purchase the plane - I have no idea what has happened to it in the intervening 6 years, but I'd look damn close at  the LG attachment if I was going to do another PB on the plane.

The berkut had a landing accident or something along that line that I can remember. The guy bought it after the incident. It just got out of Jetguys shop in TN for repairs only. The owner is an interesting individual. Not a canard guy and sees $$$ in my opinion.
