There is a CP roll over structure I saw. Are you using those plans or other plans? I was thinking of making the CP roll-over later....

The layup schedule outlined in the RAF rollover design will be incorrated into this however the rest of the canopy design is based off of the Berkut drawings I have.

 

I found a source for the Berkut canopy locks so I have that base covered.

Making progress, Here is the lip I fabricated to match up to the inside profile of the canopy:

Here it is with the canopy set into place:

 

As you can see, this allows for all the twists and turns to mate exactly to the bubble:

the edge on the canopy looks rather abrupt to the wind, drag penalty ?

or will it be built up some like the cozy ?

Yeah, I'll have to soften that line later in the process.

I got my canopy locks from TonysLongEZ and they are nothing short of perfect. Great workmanship and it's obvious that they have been manufactured by someone with a builder's perspective.

 

I'll post pics when I have them installed
