mfryer
Anyone out there know where I can obtain the NB nose gear cover? If so, about how much does one cost? I have been thinking of building a form and making my own. I think I have a fairly good idea of its shape. If I do build my own, how many plies would be appropriate for this part? scrouch
Featherlite sells it and the piece that the gear leg retracts into, but you can build your own by microing some soft foam in the area- shape it- cover it with duct tape and layup two or three plies of BID. The same thing works for the nose gear operating mech. cover. this reduces the air blowing in that area. mfryer
Thanks. I will give both options some thought. I don't thing the part should be to difficult to make.
