The idea is to have an air race with the planes - but not the typical race-track pattern. Instead, they will use a heads-updisplay and fly a virtual course in the sky. But the coolest part - IMHO is where the SPECTATORS can participate by flying their own virtual plane in the race! Check out the article - it's a good read! The only problem is whether they'll get their show off the ground. Last press release was in March 2007. They were shooting for 2007 events, but that appears unlikely now. They do have 3 teams signed up though.
