wolf.
hello, a quick introduction: I am German live in Italy and wanted to build a canard since years. But since the family does not allow that much time and since I need to fly I bought a flying Long last year (build in 93 with 200h flying time), and I love it. I picked it up near Munic in germany and flew it home to Italy (Pescara, on the height of Rome on the adriatic coast) Ok I needed 2 attemts to land it the first time, but since then following the POH by the letter, landings have been easy (the runways are kind of smaller here in Europe, I managed to stop in 1200ft). Oh and I still can't help intercepting spam cans. Of course not having build myself I couldn't resist the modification urge (remade the panel, installed an EFIS and had the engine overhauled). Last week I did loose a cowling screw (guess who did check carefully enough:irked: ), which damaged the stainless steel leading edge protection and the repair would be close to a new Prop so the new one is on order. wolf.
