Jon Matcho Posted November 18, 2006 Posted November 18, 2006 Did you know the AeroCanard is 0.2" higher than the Cozy Mark IV? I found this out when comparing the main landing gear mounting holes last night. For some reason beyond my understanding, the holes are specified to be drilled exactly 0.2" lower on each landing gear bulkhead hardpoint. I plan to use the Cozy Mark IV measurements instead. The only possible reason I can come up with is that the AeroCanard specifications possibly put the landing gear mounting bolts more towards the middle of the hardpoint. Still, something like this is going to affect canard incidence and I just don't want to deal with any more issues.
