rpellicciotti Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 We typically have the best flying weather in October. Yesterday was good and the visit to EZ Jet, Inc. was great. Today was even better. Clear, cool and dead calm. Absolutely smooth air, good power. Jon Matcho Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Nice fly-by. Yesterday was a great day in NJ too, although I was held hostage by my wife who needed me for "just an hour" which turned into 6 involving shovels, wheel barrows, dirt, and plants. I did see a lot of airplanes overhead though, wishing I was in each and every one. Saturday, while driving my parents to the airport, we saw a glider in tow. Back to work... rpellicciotti Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 Tuesday and Wednesday, the EAA's B-17, "Aluminum Overcast" will be here in Memphis (at NQA). It will be in Little Rock on the weekend. I have taken tomorrow off and the wife and I will go up there in the Long and help the staff with the B-17 rides. Should be fun. gupri Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 Beautiful days and feeling good go together hand in glove. Found, that even on a not so nice day, I can get that good feeling, watching canards doing aerobatics at: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dCikxrrPp8A Canard formation aerobatics. Even the music fits nicely. Quote
gupri Posted April 20, 2008 Posted April 20, 2008 I hope, everyone else enjoys it as much as I do. Thanks Rick Pellicciotti ! Quote
