reposted hot off the presses from the Canard Aviator's yahoo group.. from Mr Strong himself..

 

I just replaced a Strong Pitch Trim that stopped working.

On disassembly I found the motor was frozen from rust.It appears that water

had gotten into the motor cavity through a gap between the motor cover and

the welded angle.

This is the first reported case.

To prevent this from happening apply silicon adhesive to that gap Check out

the photo of the fix by going to my PWM website and scroll to the bottom of

the page.
