David Staten Posted October 3, 2006 Posted October 3, 2006 reposted hot off the presses from the Canard Aviator's yahoo group.. from Mr Strong himself.. I just replaced a Strong Pitch Trim that stopped working. On disassembly I found the motor was frozen from rust.It appears that water had gotten into the motor cavity through a gap between the motor cover and the welded angle. This is the first reported case. To prevent this from happening apply silicon adhesive to that gap Check out the photo of the fix by going to my PWM website and scroll to the bottom of the page.
