Hello everyone!

Recommended Posts

I just joined the forum. I am 32 and live in Charleston SC. I have always loved Canard aircraft. I grew up in Lakeland Florida and volunteered at Sun-n-Fun and I used to think the Eze's were the coolest fastest looking airplanes there. I always wanted one.

Still do. I currently own a spam can cessna 150. I have my private and a bit over a hundred hours. I bought the 150 because I thought I wanted to be a pilot for a career and the recent Delta mess changed my mind of that.

I currently have the oppurtunity to buy a never flown Long EZ(which frankly scares the heck out of me.) I am thinking more of buying the plans for a coze and going from there. I have a wife and two kids. I think the cozy could be finished shortly before my youngest goes to college so we would have wings to go visit her.

Does anyone know any Cozy builders in South Carolina or even Georgia? I need my wife to get a look at one before I annex the garage for the next 5-7 years.

Nick Ugolini lives in Charleston, is flying a Long-EZ, and building a Cozy III. You can search the members here for: SC, and carolina for a few hits in your state.

Joining Marc Zeitlin's Cozy Builders group will give you the most definitive list.

I'm trying to do the same... finish before my kids get to school so I can visit w/them, etc.

Welcome!
