Jon Matcho
I may never use the "plastic pressure bagging" technique again... I thought some might be interested in an economical and EZ approach for utilizing a vacuum to assist with hand layups. The page is here, and feel free to let me know your thoughts or questions. Spodman
Erm, OK Jon, I'll bite. What is the advantage of all that palaver? I've still only done one layup, the ordinary steam-powered plans version that produced a beaut part of the required weight. Why design the simplicity out of the process? Jon Matcho
Palaver?! You're not from around here are you? I listed several benefits at the bottom of the page, after you wade through all that palaver. If I had to do all my flat parts over again, I would definitely use this technique. However, it's important to note that I mean AGAIN, and not for the first time. You still need to know how to do layups without assistance from a vacuum. Ah, that's my website for my build but is offline at the moment. I am thinking about turning on the Blog feature here and transposing everything into it when the new version is soon released. In the meantime you can find a PDF version of that page attached to this post. 5 hours ago, Countach74 said: Check Cozy girls website. Think they call it low vac.
