rhofacker
I was just re-reading the CAFE report on the Cozy. He talks about a 3000 ft landing roll. I assume without any braking. What landing distances do you see in common operations? What field lengths are you comfortable flying into and out of? and at what field elevations? ZUCZZ
My Cozy operates out of a 900m strip in Johannesburg South Africa. (FASY) On landing it needs taking power to prevent a full stop after the 500m mark, so I would guess that the full stop would occur around the 800m mark. That is with the nosewheel down on the ground . With the nosewheel retracted it stops under 500m - 150m from hockeypuck contact without using the brakes.
