Wayne Hicks
Need a little inspiration??? Then watch this 4.5 minute video clip, most of it being the highlights of our 9-ship canard formation flight from Suffolk, VA to Manteo, NC for the AirVenture Cup '03 race to Oshkosh. Thanx to Frank Pullano and Brad who made the video. Well done! http://www.glassovercast.com/video/ez-ffx.wmv ==================== Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/waynehicks/index.html Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks

John Slade
Yes, that's a nice video. Worth the download time. Speaking of inspiration, Wayne, how's the Cozy coming along? Wayne Hicks
I'm slowly chipping away at it. Airframe is nearing completion. Fill-n-sand should get started in May. Currently trying to persuade the Bank that this plane needs electronic ignition and an IFR instrument panel. Sun N Fun '05 is realistically doable. I keep waiting to hear a flying success story from you. mplafleur
What codec was used to generate the video? My WM Player tries to download one and can't find it. John, I had a great time. You have a great looking plane! You should be very proud of it. I'm soooooo far away from having that. I'll send pictures of my visit when I can. John Slade
I keep waiting to hear a flying success story from you. When? Would you believe April 1st Inspection is scheduled for early next week. Once that's done I need to get current, fly a 172 flapless and, ideally do some pattern work in a Cozy. Haven't even done a full power runup or high speed taxi test yet. John Slade
Excuse the out of order posting Mike, Glad you enjoyed the visit. Thanks for the compliments, but she really needs a repaint. How did the video of the taxi test come out? If it's digital, how about uploading a short sequence so people can hear the Brrraaaappp noise Quote I can be reached on the "other" forum http://canardaviationforum.dmt.net
mplafleur
I didn't look at the video yet. I'll see what I can do. Quote Mike LaFLeur - Cozy MkIV #1155N68ML
Wayne Hicks
About the canard video, Frank Pullano sent out a message that he was getting too many hits to his website. He had to remove the video because he was exceeding his monthly bandwidth allocations. Sorry folks. But check back from time to time. Some of us are hoping he can get it hosted elsewhere for the time being. ...Wayne Hicks Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks
Jon Matcho
I offered Frank the option to host it here. I'll let everyone know if/when that happens.
