Learned this years ago on the listserv.

 

the wings are heavy on the back side of the spar, we did two things

 

1 two level blocks bondoed onto spar for future level reference, both back to front and left to right

 

2 installed spar down in the front by .2 degree, when the wings are attached, the weight of the wings makes the spar level after wing attachment.

Just out of curiosity... does this set up the correct angle while parked on the ground or while flying?

well, we installed another wing (the third) on plane day, with the spar forward be .2 and put the level on the wing and again0.0, life is good
