quotes

Jon,

I've noticed that the QUOTE function adds a lot of white space around the quote. I've been getting around it using the >, and others are using the bold function.

 

When you have a spare minute, could the quote function be easily adjusted to be less of a space hog? A minor point, but one for you're non urgent list perhaps?

Yes, I can fiddle with the internal font controls for QUOTEs. In the meantime there is a trick that can be done now. Put your reply text immediately after the <QUOTE> tag and you'll save a line. Looks like heck in the editor, but fine on screen. Use the Preview Reply button to test your results.
