mplafleur
Last weekend on plane day I was designated "official photographer". We wanted to capture our modification to the bulkheads in the strake before we closed it. THe intend is to create a wider surface for the top of the strake to be floxed/taped to the bulkheads. Maybe dust will have to correct me, but we made 2" wide tape from two layers of BID. These were cut and micro'd to the tops of the bulkheads. Before enclosing, we painted the interior with epoxy and flox'd and taped the insides. Then gooped on the flox before laying the top skin on. Here is a picture of the flanges: Quote Mike LaFLeur - Cozy MkIV #1155N68ML

mplafleur
You can see in the previous photo the long fuel injection return line. The short line at the rear bulkhead is an additional vent line. This will be tee'd to the plans vent outside of the tanks. Then when you put the nose down and fill up, when the fuel warms up, you'll actually vent air before you piss out fuel. mplafleur
Admin, Why aren't my photos being displayed? Can you hear the Jeopardy music while I wait for the 60 second timeout before I post this? Quote Mike LaFLeur - Cozy MkIV #1155N68ML
