dust
A while ago i searched nationwide for a tsio360 engine, and i found one at WENTWORTH AIRCRAFT, Inc. in minnesota. They quoted me a price of 7500 including fuel injection system, magnetos, bed and ring portion of mount, turbo, and a warranty that extyends 1 year after i fly the plane. The engine INCLUDES all logs. Well, when i went to send them the check, they found they had made a mistake on pricing the engine, it was 7,000 not 7500, ok i bitched, wanted to make sure i was paying the right price, thay wouldn't take the extra 500! Now i want finger strainers for the two planes gas tanks, ok i called him(dave) and he said no problem, he is sending them for free, wouldn't take money for them!!! Ok, so i thought, 450 for an andair fuel selector valve, maybe they have one i can use, the only problem i have is that i don't know the model, etc etc. Well he is emailing me pictures so i can choose. What ever you are looking for, call them, they are first rate. avionics, engines, props, gascolators, etc, etc, etc I couldn't be happier, they have also scrapped out 600 planes in the last three years, I can see why with service like this. enjoying the build http://www.wentworthaircraft.com/ 612-722-0065 Mike Quote maker wood dust and shavings - foam and fiberglass dust and one day a cozy will pop out, enjoying the build i can be reached at http://www.canardcommunity.com/
dust
Sorry to seem like an advertisement, but we need to reward good suppliers, just as we lambaste poor ones. We are figuring out our fuel supply system, you know we "think" we know where it is going to go and have orderred appropiatly the costly an 37 degree fuel fittings. As a backup i sent wentworth 25 bucks and they sent me a small box of fittings. A that price, it is a good thing to do to have pieces around that can be used for corrections. enjoy the build Mike Quote maker wood dust and shavings - foam and fiberglass dust and one day a cozy will pop out, enjoying the build i can be reached at http://www.canardcommunity.com/
dust
I think after seeing the amount slader has spent on AN fitings i think that going used is not a bad idea. When i got mine they were a little dirty, so a quick bath in mineral spirits fixed that up, dey lookin like new. We are still buyin plenty of new but a healthy supplement of used can reduce costs and time, as they are sitting on the shelf, not in the catologue, go to a local airplane salvage company, they love selling this stuff, have it by the barrel full enjoy the build Dust Quote maker wood dust and shavings - foam and fiberglass dust and one day a cozy will pop out, enjoying the build i can be reached at http://www.canardcommunity.com/
