Wayne Hicks Posted May 19, 2003 Share Posted May 19, 2003 A small but hearty group of folks gathered at Suffolk this weekend to make an attempt at the Fast Glass Fly-in. The weather did not cooperate. Some of the Lancairs and Canards did make it in Friday, but only a few IFR arrivals made it Saturday. With an 800 foot ceiling the only race that happened was the race to the lunch table! I'll let you know that we're already scheming on trying this again within a few weeks. This fly-in has too much potential of being one helluva fly-in. We're well organized and the airport loves us! It would be a shame to wait an entire year. So keep checking the fly-in website.
