Wayne Hicks Posted May 12, 2003 Posted May 12, 2003 Hi folks, Just a reminder about this weekend's Fast Glass Extravaganza Fly-in at Suffolk, Virginia (KSFQ). We have over 50 canards and Lancairs scheduled to attend. Details are on the fly-in's website: http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/waynehicks/fastglassflyin.html. A reminder too that we're still looking for more canards to enter the 100-mile race. So far, the Lancairs have us significantly outnumbered, so we'd like very much to see several canard type aircraft join the race. The race is really a friendly timed event and the main objective here is to simply have fun with our aircraft, safely! Are you interested? Hope to hear from you guys soon... Simply send us an email to state your interest in joining the fun and please specify your aircraft type. PS -- Race Plaques and Certificates will be awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place racers of each class. Depending on the number of participants, I could add a special canard class or two... (i.e. Canard Class I, Canard Class II). There is also an UNLIMITED class for those with six-bangers or more... ....Wayne Hicks, Steve Volovsek, and Rick Argente (race coordinator) Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks
Wayne Hicks Posted May 12, 2003 Author Posted May 12, 2003 Try the link again. This software that drives CCF doesn't like us to end sentences with periods. :-( http://www.maddyhome.com/canardpages/pages/waynehicks/fastglassflyin.html Wayne Hicks Quote Wayne Hicks Cozy IV Plans #678 http://www.ez.org/pages/waynehicks
