Kent Ashton
Marc commented recently (cozybuilder's list?) that there was only a 2.5 second window in which accidentally unlocking the feather could lead to destruction of the vehicle. Below is a video with another crew. It surprised me how fast this test happens. You will hear an "unlock" call call pretty quickly after the engines fire. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-khULLjtgU#t=66 Gives one an appreciation how the unlock could have occurred too early. 1 Quote -KentCozy IV N13AM-750 hrs, Long-EZ-85 hrs and sold
Jon Matcho
From the pilot's voice you can sense some serious G forces. What is that huge oval on the ground that appears just after the 0:50 mark?
