Cozy Girrrl
Sadly/happily No it does not. Here is why, the Shark Latch is a great design that I'd like to credit to Debbie Iwatate for the initial design, later improved by Rick Maddy, then overbuilt by us in a prototype. Along the way Wayne Hicks pointed me at his latch. This is not the one with the handle on the outside of the fuselage and all that, its the one that goes where the plans and Shark latch goes. Wayne's latch is so simple and effective it is one of those bang your head moments, its so good its dissapointingly simple, nothing remotely snarky about it. It is a very simple overcenter device and it is adjustable for how hard you wish it to go over center. When the rest of the plans parts are done we will find an appropriate plans building guinea pig to try out the prototype over center part before mass producing it, we'll try to add some snark to it so its not too plain =) Oh, prices and pictures will be available when the parts are all done, plated etc and then run through our costing algorythm, dart board and dice roll. ...Chrissi & Randi Quote CG Products www.CozyGirrrl.com Cozy Mk-IV RG 13B Turbo
Waiter
Chrissi / Randi; I'm looking for two items; 1) A complete nose wheel assembly, i.e. the mount block, pivot, damper, wheel, bearings, etc, etc. (Everything that bolts to the bottom of the nose strut. 2) The wing inserts things (nice technical term) that get floxed into the wings for mounting the Baggage pods. I think I need 6 per side, 12 total. ( My main landing gear doors hit the baggage pods, so I need to mount new inserts about 6 inches outboard of the originals.) Lynn Erickson
I had a good shimmy over the weekend, but its still there. It got my attention real fast though  This needs to be upgraded Waiter Changed mine to the Belleville washers. the shaft is hollow so I installed a 3/8" stud in the hole and secured it with a roll pin. stud is a cut off AN bolt with cotter pin hole. that gives you the male threads on the shaft. install 3/4" belleville washer and flat washer, nut with cotter pin. lot cheaper and lighter then the update you can buy. started out with several belleville washers but now only have one. no more shimmy Quote Evolultion Eze RG -a two place side by side-200 Knots on 200 HP. D. deSosa
Where can one buy Belleville washers without having to purchase a large minimum buy quantity? I'm looking for some with a 3/4" O.D. and a 3/8" I.D. Also, if anyone knows where I can buy a large 2 1/4" O.D., 3/4" I.D. brass or similar thrust washer, I would appreciate the link.
