Tub is now upside down!!!

Recommended Posts

Bad news is I am running out of epoxy. I ony have about 1/3 gal left in the pump. That wont get me too far. Maybe I can get the heat duct and support brace done with that? Glad I'm only an hour and a half drive from ACS east. I just hope the MGS 285 is in stock.

Neat!!

I don't see the corner BID tapes (first photo- LH one)... is it just the photo or my eyesight? (it does look installed on the RH photo, I'm not sure. So I ask) :)

Looks very nice!

On mine I ended up installing an angle on the outsides of the legholes in the instrument panel ... without it it cuts into my leg.

Maybe i'm just softer than the average Cozy pilot :), but now would be the time, while you can get to it easier.

Nice workshop - you lucky feller!

The first pic on the left is when I first flipped it over. I waited untill the tub was upside down to do the back side of the seat back so it was easier to lay down the tapes. That pic was before I taped the seat back. Right now I am waiting on the pieces of the heat duct and support brace to cure so I can cut them out. I am taking the aluminum plate for the fuel valve and the plywood triangles to work tonight to finish them.

KillerB, your pictures are great. I'm just starting Chapter 4 reading ahead to Chapters 5,6,7 and seeing your pictures clears up lots of questions I have regarding the shape of the bulkheads, longerons and sides and how they come together. Glad you are ahead of me blazing the way.
