Todd's Canopies vs Airplane Plastics

Recommended Posts

I have read A LOT of good things about Todd Silver's canopy work.

Airplane Plastics has been an approved source for Cozy canopies so I assume they're good too.

Can anybody comment on how Todd's Canopies and Airplane Plastics compare in terms of their capabilities, pricing, etc., especially for custom work?

All I can say is Todd won't let anything out of his shop without it being perfect. It seems he likes custom work too.

I bought from both for Berkuts.

Both were well made. There's always a little shape variation in free-blown canopies, but there was only one that was far enough from our desired shape that we sent it back - and AP replaced it.

Last time I bought them, Todd was half the price of AP. If I had to buy today, I'd buy from Todd.
