Cozy2do
Just a tip what I did for my screws so they would not turn. You can see from the attached pictures but basically extended slot all the way to edge and then tapped in brass rod that I picked up at local hardware store for 49 cents. Cozy2do
Thanks Dave! I think they should stay put. I also washed the screws in acetone to get all the oils of them and the epoxy would adhere better.
Daniel Dillon
Fabulous photography.... Question, however (sinde I am not there yet)... what are these screws for, and are they then glassed over? Wayne Hicks
The screws are for holding the brackets for the rudder cable pulley, installed in Chapter 15. I like John's installation method. An offshoot of it might be to align two of the screws and extend the one rod across two screws. :-) Another solution is to use clickbonds. Nathan Gifford
...tapped in brass rod that I picked up at local hardware store for 49 cents. John Looks great John and really simple. One question, is there a metallurgy problem between the screw and the brass?
