Rick,

I think that the overall intent is to create an aesthetic scultured shape, both inside and out. There are very few flat surfaces on the Cozy and square sides inside the nose would look pretty weird. Also, you need all the space you can get inside the nose when it comes time to fit the pitot system, static system, brakes cylinders, rudder pedals, nose lift, GPS antenna, Heater radiator, AC Evaporator...

Finally, and perhaps most important, curved shapes are stronger than flat ones.
